To prove that every detail counts, genuine Modern Steel Doors have thresholds that are also finished the same color as the jamb and door panels. From a structural and functional perspective, the welded threshold not only stabilizes the entire door system but can create clearance from the bottom weather-stripping to protect floor coverings and allow for placement of an area rug.
