The heat signatures of Raw Steel cladding commingle with hues of blue-gray to create beautiful door skins. A door lite is a great way to add sophistication to the Raw Steel skins. The door lite's exterior is seamless. Steel transitions to glass and then back to steel without interruption. Modern Steel Doors has created a proprietary method to construct our door lites. The simplicity of our method is part of the minimal design. The logistical requirements of the door lite are cleverly cladded on the interior of the door. The door lites are typically 8 inches wide and the glass is fixed. They serve to let light into the home, provide a view to the outside and improve the door's appearance. Clear Low E glass is the most common glass choice for use on the door lites.
The Raw Steel cladding is thermally insulated behind the interior and exterior door skins. High-density polystyrene is used to insulate the door center. Our proprietary method of construction creates a triple insulated door.
Door lite length pulls are available in a variety of finishes, shapes, and materials. Here is a list of the different pull types.
All of the door and jamb are powder coated. Only the interior ad exterior door skins are finished in Raw Steel. The included door pulls are also powder-coated in the same color. Architectural Stee powder coating is the top choice and Matte Black is the second most used powder coating with Raw Steel skins. The Modern Steel Doors team is ready to help you create your Raw Steel entry door. We have decades of experience helping our clients with their very special front doors. Read client reviews.
