RAW STEEL SINGLE PIVOT DOOR WITH DOOR PULLS

Don’t miss out on an opportunity to make a huge and unique statement in the inside of your home.  Modern Steel Doors (MSD) can be used to make a grand statement as interior doors. This approach is a long-awaited challenge to the use of wood doors as interior doors.  Wood doors have generally been accepted as interior doors for decades - be different. Here are suggestions for the use of interior doors:

  • Raw Steel hanging barn doors are available in different configurations. Single barn doors can be made very large. Twelve-foot tall barn doors are available in a single sheet. Six-foot wide barn doors are available in a single sheet of Raw Steel.  Picture this, a six-foot-wide by twelve-foot tall Raw Steel barn door. The movement of the finish within the door panel will be stunning. This would leave a long-lasting impression on all who visit.
  • Swinging doors, using conventional hinges, can be used for office, master bedroom or library entrances. Swinging doors may be used as single or double.  Don’t miss out on an opportunity to have a space scream “I’m special.”

Door length pulls are included with your Raw Steel pivot door. Each pull is made in house at Modern Steel Doors (MSD).  The tall pulls are highly recommended for shorter doors as they can help exaggerate height. However, each is custom made, therefore, the height of the pull can be tailored to suit your vision.

We have all heard the term “In-house”, but what does it mean? The benefit of our in-house manufacturing process is that each component is designed and continues to evolve for a specific use. MSD intends to evolve our products, to their specific use, to the highest degree. It also increases accountability.  The combination of both intentions is very advantageous for the client. MSD clients are doing more than buying a front door. Our clients are pursuing a special experience. Accountability, constant improvement and quality service, the front door happens to be a means to that end.

Generic manufacturing is a one size fits all approach. At its’ best, it aims to be slightly above the level of acceptable.  Each method fulfills its respective purpose perfectly. The goal is a matter of compatibility. Low price and fast are features that align with a generic approach. Higher prices and longer lead times align the custom approach. Finding your perfect front door begins by identifying your intention and then finding the supplier that has the most similar intention.  John Ruskin suggests that this mindset has stood the test of time when he wisely said “It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money - that's all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot - it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.”
