The influence behind the Edge door design is piano keys. Alternating lines are made using metal and solid hardwood to make up the door body. This Edge door is powder coated Bronze and the wood is White Oak, a solid hardwood. The subtle browns in the White Oak grain compliment the bronze door frame. Active doors are the primary door used and the inactive door can be opened by unlatching the upper and lower flush bolts, creating a large opening that may prove useful when moving large items in and out of the home. Dough Cutter pulls are welded onto the door frame for sturdiness. Welding means that the pulls will never work themselves loose.
In addition to our own hardwoods, Modern Steel Doors provides an option for clients to have the wood already used in their homes to match that of their front door. Learn more about your wood options here.
