Less is more when it comes to the Metal Door Design. Minimalistic with a strong presence, this all-metal construction compliments virtually every home entryway. Introducing unexpected materials and unique details can transform this simple design into one like none other.
Metal and wood unite to create an uncommon and stunning composition. This Metal Door Design uses Washed Teak Wood on the door pulls and sidelight area. Combining synthetic and organic materials produces a dynamic and interesting work. This reinventive use of materials is characteristic of the work produced and mastered by Modern Steel Doors.
The conventional glass sidelight inspired the vertical wood accent alongside the door, located in the same space. Using the same wood finish used in the door pulls creates cohesion and breaks up space. The Washed Teak Wood finish was consciously used to bring out the brown tones in the bronze powder-coated metal finish. Clients may use one of our hardwood finishes or provide their own wood to match other features in their home.
Unlike any other pivot door construction, Modern Steel Doors seamlessly incorporates sidelights into a single pivot door unit. This means that the door and sidelight are welded within the same metal frame and arrive as one, easy-to-instal unit. J. Cruz describes this unmatched advantage and other sidelight integration topics in the video above.
After a door has been selected for the front of the home, clients often begin to consider the other entryways within their home. Combining pivot doors on the same project is an ideal way to create cohesion throughout the home. This could mean using a less dramatic and smaller variation of the front door on other entrances, such as that of a guest house. In the latter video above, J. Cruz elaborates on this possibility.
Our design team has over 20 years of experience helping clients craft the perfect front door for them and their home. Attention to detail, handcrafted work, and redefining the norm are equally as important to us as well.
