The edge is very imposing, it's not subtle.
It's black or white, it's not grey. it's so crude and in being so
simplistic just alternating lines and spaces
it works great with scale.

A door has needs. All of these things had to be
very strategically be engineered.
The metal is easy, it's all there

But to have the glass suspend everything else,
I removed everything that we possibly could
around the edge to create a door that looked
like it was defying the laws of physics
